Today I got in the mail my long awaited I Heart Revolution bracelet containing the cd, backgrounds, videos and much more all inside of the bracelet itself. Anyway, besides the cool promotions, I have really been taken back by this movement. The I Heart Revolution movement is a movement of young people, specifically in Australia, to come together as one to simply be the church. Their mission is simple, go out into the world and fight for justice. Today, more than ever, I have an urgent call on my heart to fight for justice and to truly be the church. But for so long, I have never really known what that means for me and where I am at. I can see all the things that need to be done elsewhere, but what about here and now. Isaiah 56:1-2 says, "Keep justice and do righteousness, for my salvation is about to come, and my righteousness to be revealed. Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who lays hold on it; who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, and keeps his hand from doing any evil." This whole standing for justice thing really just comes down to standing when no one else will and fighting for God's heart to see a world find hope. Its about loving God...its about loving others... its about being light in dark places...its about being the church...its about being the hands and feet of Jesus...Its our CALL, its our MISSION, and the time is NOW!!! Go out and be the hands and feet of Jesus in your community today. Fight for justice and righteousness. Be a light in dark places. Stand when no one else will. Be the church!
