Man the secret place is so important in our lives. It is that life we live when no one is looking. And if we were really honest it probably doesn't look much like the life we live in public. God's heart for us is that our secret place would be full of truth and wisdom. I was reading my Word this morning and read in Psalm 51 after King David failed in his secret life. And this is God's desire for us. Psalm 51:5-6 says, "Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom." God wants us to live our secret life, the life no one else sees, with truth and wisdom. He desires for us to make good choices when no one is looking. For so many of us, we feel like we have to put on this illusion on the outside, because our secret life is embarrassing or isn't what people think. God wants all of us... our public life and our secret life. Make some changes today in your life to fill your heart and secret life with truth. Take hold of your life that no one sees and live it for the Lord, knowing that if we live right in the secret, our public life won't be such an illusion anymore.
