NBA crunchtime

Right now is NBA crunchtime. The NBA playoffs are in full force and it is getting pretty intense. Not just for the teams, but for me specifically. Let me tell you why. For those who know me, they know that I am a hardcore San Antonio Spurs fan. I love the Spurs. Most of that love comes because I lived there most of my life, but I think they are one of the most fundamental basketball teams in the league. Many people give the Spurs a hard time because they aren't a showy and fun team to watch, but I would beg to differ. Anyway, the reason why it is so intense for me is because I have a bet... Now NOT a money bet... but a bet of pride. My bet is with Cody Chapman. And here it is: If the Spurs go on and win...beating the Lakers... Cody has to lead worship, which he does often, all dressed up in Spurs gear, and has to cheer for the Spurs in the Finals. But...this is a big but... if the Lakers win, I have to preach, which I do often, all dressed up in Lakers gear. And I have to cheer for the Lakers in the finals. Anyway, I can't lose... there is too much at stake. Well the Lakers play tonight and the Spurs play tomorrow. Let the best team win. Go SPURS Go!!
