A Sad Day in San Antonio

Well today is truly a sad day in San Antonio. If you have ever been to San Antonio at all, you will find out quick that the San Antonio Spurs are the pride and joy of the city. When the basketball season is going you can find Go Spurs Go banners on just about every building in town. We love our Spurs. Anyway, anybody that knows me, knows that I am a die hard Spurs fan. I am not just a fan, but I believe in my Spurs even when victory is improbable. Well today they were kicked out of the playoffs, quenching any hopes of yet another championship. This is not only a sad day for San Antonio, but a sad day for me. If you have been reading my blogs at all, you know that I have an ongoing bet with some die hard Lakers fans here in Washington. My bet was that whatever team won, the other person would have to wear the other team's jersey where they work. For them, it was on stage leading worship, and for me, it was when I preach. All I know is that I am a man of my word. So I look forward to sportin' Kobe's lame jersey while I try to minister to young people...lol. All I know is that the Spurs aren't going away... they will be back.

Here is a tribute to the Spurs:
