This Sunday I was in a worship service in my church and we sang the song from Chris Tomlin, "God of this City." The powerful wordsdeclared to the Lord just filled my heart with a burden and passion for my city, Olympia. The song goes, "Greater things are yet to come, Greater things are still to be done in this city." This song was birthed out of a guys heart who was in great opposition with his city and people... sounds a lot like where I live... Anyway, but the power of those words really fill your heart with strength. There is no greater joy than to know that first Our God is God of our city and that greater things are yet to come. Sing to the Lord today, and know deep in inside that greater things are yet to come and greater things are still to be done in this city.
